Good afternoon. Enjoy today’s devotion.
Bible Verse – Ephesians 2:19-22 NLT
“19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. 22 Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.”
Reflection
The beauty of these verses is that we can read that Jewish and Gentile believers are united as one body in Christ Jesus. God’s spirit – The Holy Spirit dwells in each believer. No one is greater than or less than if they are believers in Christ Jesus and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior.
As believers, let us continue to grow in Christ. Let us continue to love those who are different from us, but are our sisters and brothers in Christ. Let us continue to pray for those who don’t know Christ to get to know Him.
Prayer
Father God we thank you for accepting us as your children. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to save us. Lord, help us to share your love and the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
Lord as we journey through this month, shower us with your presence and peace. Protect us and keep us secure in you. Lord, when days are difficult and at times unbearable help us to see You at work in our circumstances. Lord. thank you for your blessings that continue to flow. Lord continue to equip us and guide us through each day. Help us to be an example of you.
Lord, continue to heal, restore, bless and keep us all.
In Jesus name, amen!
