Father God we thank you for allowing us to be apart of another day that you made. Thank you for blessing us with an opportunity to serve you and those you love.

Lord, go before us as we prepare for things we are doing today. Lord, bless us with your peace and help us to feel your presence. Lord, thank you for equipping us for the things we will face today. Lord, help us to put on every piece of armor that will protect us from the attacks of the enemy and help us to stand firm on Your Word. Lord, protect our minds and don’t let us believe or accept the lies of the enemy. Lord, help us to remember Your Word.

Lord, we pray for those who are grieving today. Lord, comfort their hearts and help them to heal in a healthy way. Lord, continue to heal those who have cancer. Lord, comfort them and ease their pain as they go through treatments. Lord, be with those who suffer from chronic illnesses and pain. Lord, strengthen them and ease their pain. Lord, help them with a cure. Lord, continue to heal those who had surgery. Lord, we thank you for the improvements in their bodies, but Lord we are still asking for you to completely heal them.

Lord, cover our children, grandchildren, and all the children preparing for school today. Lord, put your hedge of protection around them and keep them same. Lord, keep their school campuses safe. Help them to make good choices and have good friends who are good influences. Lord, help them with their studies and everything they need to do in order for them to do well in school this year. Lord, be with each teacher and administrator and give them discernment as well as compassion towards the students. Lord, help them to balance work and their personal lives. Strengthen them as they continue to work this school year.

Lord, we lift up the Hawaiian islands to you. Lord, turn the hurricane in a way that it won’t directly hit the island. Lord, restore electricity and reduce the rain water. Lord, protect those on the islands and others who have been impacted. Lord, help the people obtain everything they need as they wait and pray for conditions to change.

Lord, we leave everything in your capable hands. In Jesus name, amen.
