Father God, thank you for waking us up this morning. Thank you for the opportunity to begin our week in prayer with you. Thank you for blessing us with another opportunity to serve you and those you have placed in our care. 

Lord God, be with us today as we go about the plans set ahead. Help us to be a light in this world. Help us to show patience and love. Help us to discern every situation and decision with the wisdom You give with humility and compassion. Lord, help us as You continue to transform our hearts and minds to mirror You. Lord, as you continue to transform us, help others to see and feel that transformation in us. Keep stretching and growing us to be your usable vessels. Transform our homes and relationships, as you continue to spiritually mature us.

Lord, be with each child as they go to school. Lord, remove their fears and anxiety. Help them to become better in their studies, and help them to understand the material they need to learn. Lord, protect each child and get them the help that they may need. Lord, protect each school/college/university campus from plots to harm. Lord, be with each educator and administrator and help them throughout the day. Equip them with the tools and hearts to work with each student. Lord, remove each predatory adult from those schools.

Lord, we pray for the orphaned and foster child and we ask that you comfort them and remind them that they are loved and that they matter.

Lord, continue to heal those in need of healing – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In Jesus name, amen.
