Good morning! The God of all things on earth and in heaven is the same God who blessed us with today. Praise Him for this day. If it is a rough day praise Him, if it is a challenging day praise Him, and if it is a day that is good praise Him because no matter what lies ahead He is with you and He will not leave you. Join me as we continue our reading in 2 Corinthians.
Bible Verse – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NLT
“3 If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.”
Reflection
When Jesus released his spirit (Matthew 27:51), the veil was torn. We were no longer required to go through a priest to pray on our behalf. Jesus the chief priest made a way for us to go directly to God who hears and answers our prayers. Yet, many are still trapped behind the veil. They live in the area of disbelief and disobedience. Some know the truth but choose not to follow. Others have allowed for Satan to blind their minds which makes it difficult to see the light of the gospel.
It’s not that it is impossible to understand the gospel, but it is easier for people to explain it away when Satan has blinded their minds. The word says Christ is the image of God (Col. 1:15), and He revealed God the Father by His words and actions (John 1:28; 14:9). God holds all power, Satan has already been defeated, so keep praying for your loved ones and this world to know and follow Jesus so that they do not perish.
Sisters and brothers, as long as there is air in our lungs our work here on earth is not complete. If we live a life that gives glory to the Lord, the spiritual gifts we use for His glory will leave a legacy that will bear fruit for generations to come.

Prayer
Father God, thank you for another day. Thank you for blessing us with your Word that never fails or changes. Lord, you are Alpha and Omega and today we give you our lives. Have your way with us as we seek to share your glorious light of the Good News with others. Lord, cover our families, children and those who are in desperate need of you today. Lord, we pray for the lost, least and last. Lord comfort those who are grieving, those who are battling cancer, those who are caregivers for those battling cancer. Lord, we don’t know why you have allowed healing for some and not others but we will continue to trust you and keep praying for healing for others. Lord, we know your ways are not our ways, but Lord we do ask for peace when our hearts are overwhelmed with grief, pain, and sadness. Lord, we praise you for the people who continue to pray and stand in hope. Be with us today and this weekend as we reflect on your love for us. Lord, we pray for all the graduates and ask that you cover them and their families. Continue to bring peace in our homes and on our jobs. Lord, help us to be courageous and bold as we walk into our purpose. Help us to continue to pray for those who are perishing to know, believe, and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, amen.
Stay Focused! Keep Pressing! Keep Trusting!
