This is a new year that God has created. He didn’t make a mistake when He included you in His plan. He is the God of second chances, new beginnings, and choosing us at such a time as this to be in this world. May your year be a year of intention and focus on all the things God puts before you, in you, and around you.

Father God, we are thankful for this 1st day of 2026. We are grateful for your faithfulness the years before and we trust that you will be faithful for the next 364 days ahead. 

Lord God, forgive us for the times when we fell short… Lord, forgive us of our sins (known and unknown). Lord, strengthen our faith and character as we seek to live according to your word. Remove temptations that will cause us to fall away from you and/or our loved ones. Lord, protect us from the schemes/plots of the enemy and help us to recognize His tactics and call on your name so that the enemy will flee.

Lord, each day will be filled with your new mercies, but today I pray for the removal of distractions that lead us away from you. Lord, put a burning flame in our hearts to follow you step by step this year. Guide us with your wisdom and discernment as we go through each day. Lord, comfort those who are lonely. Lord, remove depression and stabilize mental health. Strengthen those who have been or will be faced with grief. Lord, help us to lean on you instead of on addictive devices as we face any type of loss this year. Lord, heal and set free those in bondage to addiction, help them to lose their desire for those things. Help them to stand firm in your strength.

Lord, we pray for financial concerns to be resolved. Lord, help debt to be removed and cleared. Lord, bless your children with gainful employment, promotion, and opportunities that will significantly increase their income to meet and exceed their financial obligations and make them secure in their finances. Lord, give them favor on their jobs, in new opportunities, and in their own businesses. Lord, help them to recognize where their blessings come from and help them to bless their churches, families and communities.

Lord, you know everything we overcame in 2025. We know we could not have done it without you. We are forever grateful for your love, mercy, and grace. Lord, while there are some things that we must carry and resolve such as court appearances, births, cancer and medical treatments, relationships and bills. Lord, give each person renewal of strength to keep pressing forward and through.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Next Bible Study

On Thursday, January 15, we will begin our next Bible Study. We will meet via Zoom from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. PST

Next Event

On January 3, 2026, we will be hosting a luncheon in Pasadena for the women at our partner facility from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. We are looking for a few volunteers to assist with the event. If you would like to volunteer, email: contactus@maryewhiteministries.com

Year End Contribution Statements 

A special thank you to those who have contributed and supported this nonprofit ministry. Your contributions and in kind donations helped us to host three 12-week Bible studies, provide hygiene essentials and supplies to partner facilities, and have our annual retreat.
