Good morning! Have you ever been in a situation where it seemed like the odds were against you? While the Psalmist David was annointed as king, he did have difficulties – his enemies were after him. Despite of his predicaments, king David chose to trust the Lord. Join us as we finish Psalm 23. Enjoy.

Psalm 23:5-6 NIV

“You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
⁶ Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.”

Reflection

To simply know that the Lord protects, that He provides favor and He turns situations around should fill our hearts with overflow. He has our back all the days of our lives and after.

His goodness and love will follow us all the days of our lives, and praise God – we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

Sisters and brothers, trust and believe it. The Lord will never leave us.

Prayer

Father God thank you for your goodness and love. Thank you for never leaving us. Thank you for your promises that continue to give us hope. Help us to hold on to you while we journey through good and difficult days. In Jesus name, amen.
