He is Mindful of Us

Good morning! First I want to share a praise report from a Pastor in Boliva. “Evening Jan 21 update. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! The news has just come in! The new Bolivian Penal Code is officially being cancelled. This is what we have been praying for brothers and sisters. It’s an amazing answer to prayer. We will be allowed to legally share the gospel and evangelize.

It’s almost unbelievable this has happened. But we know with God nothing is impossible and he hears the cries of his people. Thank you for joining us in prayer these past few weeks.”

Brothers and sisters, God is still in the business of doing what we believe is impossible. He is still in the business of softening hearts of leaders and dictators.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; 4 what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? 5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet,”Psalm 8:4-7 NRSV

We serve a mighty God.

Father God we thank you for your amazing power and for you incredible love for us. You have shown us time and time again that you are in control over all things.  Lord, we thank you for answered prayers. Lord, not one thing occurs without your notice. Lord, we continue to lift up countries where sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ is still a crime or where brothers and sisters in the faith are being persecuted. Lord, strengthen their faith and open the doors for them to publicly display their love and faith in you. Lord, for us who live in a land with religious freedom, remind us not to take it lightly. Lord, help us to bold in our faith, to show love and compassion for those who don’t know you, and to continue to seek you and your word each day. Lord, be with us this week as we live to please and serve you. In Jesus name, amen.

Keep seeking! Keep Trusting! Keep praying!
