Mary E. White Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian organization that was established to provide opportunities for women who are in transitional living facilities, homeless shelters and other dependent living organization to experience the love of God at scheduled events and outreach programs throughout Southern California.

The founder of Mary E. White Ministries, has a heart for women. Her heart has always been to provide emotional support – relief from pain and heartbreak to women who need to be encouraged at difficult times in their lives. Since 2013, she has been actively seeking opportunities to minister to and provide support to women on a larger scale. While working on numerous events for women, she realized that many of the events were too expensive for the hurting, lost, least, and last to experience. She knew in her heart that these women deserved a retreat even if they could not afford one.

So after much prayer and encouragement, she moved forward with the vision God gave her for this ministry. As a result, she has began to partner with numerous shelters, churches and women to forge ahead to offer life essentials and women’s retreats to those in need.

The short-term goal is to offer retreats in three cities beginning with the Riverside/Inland Empire, Arcadia/Pasadena and in the Long Beach/Torrance areas. The retreats are in a safe and welcoming environment that allow women to experience love and compassion from other women, an opportunity to rest from the stressful situations in their lives and to hear the word of God from a Christian biblical foundation. At least two months prior to the events, the ministry team extends an invitation to various shelters, transitional living facilities and other dependent living organization in the event city/surrounding areas to offer free tickets to women who are interested in attending.
