Happy Friday! This is the 19th day of the new year. As you go about your day, look around at God’s glory, give thanks and pray for people you see.
“I will thank the Lord because he is just; I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.” Psalm 7:17 NLT
It’s easy to go around thanking the Lord for things we see. The Psalmist cried out to the Lord and although his enemies were against him, he thanked the Lord in advance. We may be facing obstacles, but keep praising and thanking the Lord, he will come through.
Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Here’s an idea, spend some quality time with the Lord. Use that time to thank the Lord for all that he has done in your life. Praise him in advance for the things he will bring you through. Share your testimony of God’s grace, mercy and faithfulness with someone else.
Dear Lord, we thank you for all that you have done for us. Thank you for being our shield of protection and for sparing us from the judgment that we may deserve. Lord, look into our hearts and begin/continue to remove things that are not pleasing to you. Lord, help us to stand firm on your word. Guide our thoughts and show us where and how you want to use us to share your word with others. Lord, remove our fears and plant peace into our hearts. Lord, we lift up to you those who are sick. Lord, restore them to health. Lord, we also pray for those with terminal illnesses, Lord be with them and their families, comfort them and guide them in all the decisions that will need to be made. Lord, we pray for victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. Lord, expose the darkness of those horrific problems and bring freedom and healing for all the captives/victims. Lord, we praise and thank you in advance, continue to change us. In Jesus name, amen!
Keep seeking God’s truth! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
