He Healed Them All

Good morning! May you find comfort as you give everything on your heart to the Lord. May the peace of the Lord give you strength for today. Enjoy today’s devotion.

BIBLE VERSE – MATTHEW 15:29-31 NLT
29 Jesus returned to the Sea of Galilee and climbed a hill and sat down. 30 A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.  31 The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn’t been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.”

REFLECTION
Praise God! The word was out. Can you imagine the conversation around town? Maybe it was something like this: Jesus the Messiah/Healer is here in our town. Hurry bring all your sick and anyone who suffers from anything, so that they can be made well.

While the people believed their friend or family member could be healed. They were still amazed by the healing that took place.

Brothers and sisters, Jesus is still in the business of healing. Are you physically or spiritually sick, crippled, blind, lame, are you filled with anxiety, does depression have a grip, are you experiencing a lack of speech, etc.?

Physical healing is amazing because the Lord does things inwardly and outwardly to allow others to see His power and faithfulness.

Spiritual healing can happen in a variety of ways, here are only three (but we serve a limitless God that can do so much more):

• If He heals you by giving you peace, it is healing within your mind, body and spirit.

• If He heals you with sight to see His plan for your life – then where you were once blind to see it, He has given you sight.

• If He removes your fears, then you are no longer paralyzed by them.

Keep praying for the Lord to heal you physically and spiritually.

PRAYER
Father God, thank you for today. Thank you for coming to save us. Lord, thank you for ministering to Israel and then to us Gentiles. Lord, thank you for inclusion of all people groups. Lord, we ask for forgiveness of our sins and ask that you come into our hearts and live in them forever. Lord, heal us both physically and spiritually. Lord, we need you. Lord, we want to feel your presence and power in our lives. Lord, give us the strength and piece that we need to serve you and your people. Transform us Lord. Make us whole. Equip us to be like the town in the verses above to bring our sick friends and family members to your feet, to hear your word, receive you as the Lord of their lives and to be healed. Lord we continue to present our prayers to you for the people impacted by war. Lord, I know your word says there will be wars and rumors of wars, but Lord we ask for you to intervene and end to the wars – heal the lands, reunite families, provide food for the hungry, a place live and sleep for those who have been displaced, and set the captives free.

In Jesus name we pray all these things, amen.
