Father God, thank you for our Savior and Lord of our lives. Thank you for redemption, grace, love, and compassion. Lord, it is because of you that there is hope. It is because of you that we can truly live. It is because of you that we are healed and whole – in Jesus name.

Lord, forgive us for the times when we made things about ourselves instead of about you. Lord, forgive us for the times we gave ourselves all the credit for our lives, our success, or our status when deep down (or even on the surface) we knew and know it all comes from you. Lord, keep us humble in our hearts and minds. Lord, help us to remember you in every area of our lives. Lord, you know the depths of our life stories and our medical history. Lord, you know the family backgrounds we came from. You know how easy or difficult it was for each reader. You understand the root that created trauma and trauma responses. Lord, we ask that you begin and continue to heal the hurt and pain of our past. Help us to lean in on you – You are the Vine and we are the branches, keep us abiding in you so that our healing will overflow and generation after generations will be healthy and whole. Lord, if you decide not to remove the thorns from our flesh help us to remember the power of Christ that is within us to keep pressing on. Lord, keep us kingdom focused. Lord, heal our families and our world. Lord, heal those who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. Lord, you know why they’ve turned to substances. Lord, help them to turn to you and help them to recognize you as the only substance that they need. Lord, heal those who are suffering from illnesses (e.g., cancer, chronic pain and disease). Comfort those who are mourning the loss of loved ones and grieving things that have been lost (e.g., jobs, relationships, finances, etc.). Lord, prepare interview panels and give favor to those seeking employment. Open doors for those in need. Continue to protect children going to school and childcare today. Watch over the young adults who are moving into dorms and off campus housing.  Lord, keep them safe, healthy, and unburdened while they pursue their education. Remove anxiety and fear, and help us all to continue to put our hope, trust, and faith in you. Lord, keep us all. In Jesus name, amen.
