Good morning! Mary E White Ministries will be taking a brief break from regular posting to focus on scriptures that point us to the reason for the season. Enjoy!
“but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” Luke 2:10-11NLT
As we celebrate remember the greatest gift is the one of salvation. This is good news – of hope, salvation and redemption.
Continue to pray for those who don’t believe. Be a reflection of godly character – live what you believe.
Father God, thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to save us. Lord, there is no greater love. Lord, as the celebration of the birth of your son continues we ask that you be with family, friends and loved ones who are without hope or are experiencing pain and loss of a loved one. Lord, while it’s easy to celebrate you, we know it is a difficult time of year for others to celebrate. Father, comfort them. Father, give them hope and renew their faith. Father, strengthen them and give them peace. Lord, we pray for those who don’t have anyone to share the season with. Lord, remind them and us of your incredible love. Lord, help us to be your hands and feet in this season. In Jesus name, amen.
Have a wonderful Christmas! Thank you Lord for saving us.
