Good morning! The Lord is greatly to be praised – He is the greatest restorer. His name is the Lord!
“3 But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy. 4 Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord—rejoice in his presence! 5 Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy. 6 God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” Psalm 68:3-6 NLT
His name is the Lord
Google dictionary describes lord as: “someone or something having power, authority, or influence; a master or ruler.”
The Bible says that God is Lord of lords. He is the ultimate ruler, the source of power and the authority. Brothers and sisters, don’t forget his name. When it is hard to smile turn to the Lord and share your pain. Ask the Lord to send his Holy Spirit and to fill you with the joy that only comes from the Lord.
Father of the fatherless and defender of widows (v.5), pour out your Holy Spirit on us. Lord, thank you for rescuing us from the enemies hold and mind games. We know that in you we are forgiven and restored. Lord, continue to open our eyes so that we may learn from you. Lord, soften our heart and help us to forgive others as you have forgiven us. Lord, heal the brokenness of our past and our today, set us free. Lord, give us joy and restore our souls. Lord, be our peace and strength as we call on you and seek your discernment and wisdom. Lord, heal our families, bring them closer to you and may they choose to follow you all the days of their lives. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
