My Soul Thirsts For You

Happy Monday! When we search, we find Him.

“1O God, you are my God;
    I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
    my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
    where there is no water.
I have seen you in your sanctuary
    and gazed upon your power and glory.
Your unfailing love is better than life itselfhow I praise you!
I will praise you as long as I live,
    lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
You satisfy me more than the richest feast.
    I will praise you with songs of joy.” (Psalm 63:1-5 NLT)

Who are you searching for?

When the weight of this world is keeping your head down, look up – open your eyes to the Lord who knows and loves you.

Lord God, we thank you for your unfailing love. Thank you for revealing yourself to us, when we search for you. Lord, thank you for longing you put in our hearts to know you and trust in you. Lord, no one can satisfy our souls like you. As we begin a new week, quench our thirst and fill us with your Holy Spirit. Lord, no matter how difficult our circumstances may be, help us to see you at work in our lives. Guide our speech and soften our hearts so that we may be obedient to your word and a pleasing representative of you wherever we go. Lord, as we journey through this broken world we need you. Remind us of your love toward us. Lord, we pray for those who do not know you, Lord open their eyes to see you and your mighty power at work. Lord, only you can heal our brokenness and make us whole. Lord, we surrender our will to yours, show us the areas within ourselves that you need to purge out and us release those things to you. Change us, Lord. In Jesus name.

Keep seeking the Lord! Keep trusting His truth! Keep praying!
