Who Will Call

Happy Friday! By the grace of God we made it through another week. Lord, thank you for your presence.

16 But I will call on God,
    and the Lord will rescue me.
17 Morning, noon, and night
    I cry out in my distress,
    and the Lord hears my voice.
18 He ransoms me and keeps me safe
    from the battle waged against me,
    though many still oppose me.
19 God, who has ruled forever,
    will hear me and humble them.
For my enemies refuse to change their ways;
    they do not fear God.” Psalm 55:16-19 NLT

Lord, who can we call on in times of despair and will answer us day and night? No one but you God, this is truly what we are confident of…you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Lord, you are our way maker, confidant, Father, rescuer, hiding place, refuge, strength, protector, shield, comforter, healer, restorer, redeemer, provider, Prince of Peace, King of kings, Lord of lords and so much more.

What are you facing today? ________

Tell your problem who God is today? ______ (if you have a chance, share your comments)

Father God, thank you for all that you have done. Thank you for all the things you continue to and will do. Lord, thank you for hearing us when we call out to you. Lord, thank you for your Holy Spirit that guides our thoughts and convicts us when we are not aligned to your will and ways. Lord, we pray for the lost and broken. Lord, the enemy doesn’t want to let them go, but we know you are more powerful than any force and we ask that you set individuals who are bound and desire to be free – free from the bondage of the enemy. Lord, break every chain (mental, emotional, physical, financial, etc.). Lord, bring strong Christian brothers and sisters in the faith to walk along side them to pray, encourage and disciple them. Lord, continue to equip us (brothers and sisters in the faith) with discernment and guide our thoughts. Lord, we pray for our youth and their fears, our young adults and their anxiousness, our adults and their decision-making, our seasoned adults and the impact they continue make on society. Lord, heal us and change us so that we may be more like you. Teach us your ways and may your ways be forever in our hearts and our actions. In Jesus name, amen.

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
