Good morning! The Lord is worthy of our trust and praise.
“8 But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love. 9 I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people.” Psalm 52:8-9 NLT
I’m always amazed by the peace and joy I feel when I am in the presence of our loving God and his faithful servants. While we “haven’t arrived” he continues to show himself faithful in the good and difficult moments in our lives. He gives us strength to endure all things and provides peace on our journey.
No one loves us as much as he loves us.
Who will you trust with your life and soul? ________
Why? ________
No matter your response to the first question, ask the Lord to speak to you as you ponder on all the reason(s) why. Say the reasons why out loud. Once you’ve said it/them, continue to meditate on those reasons throughout the day and invite the Lord into that space.
Like David prayed, “Don’t banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me (Psalm 51:11)” my prayer for us is the same.
Dear Lord, you are amazing. We stand in awe of you and your marvelous work. No one can compare to you. Lord, as we surrender our lives to you – teach us your ways, remove our fears, addictions, jealousy, deceit, gossip and bitterness from our hearts and minds. Lord, cover us and allow us to plant ourselves next to you and your word so that we may thrive in you. Lord, we desire to trust you in every area of our lives – continue to change our hearts. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
