Good morning and happy Monday! When I think about the Lord, I simply cannot contain myself from sharing his faithfulness. Can you?
“9 I have told all your people about your justice. I have not been afraid to speak out, as you, O Lord, well know. 10 I have not kept the good news of your justice hidden in my heart; I have talked about your faithfulness and saving power. I have told everyone in the great assembly of your unfailing love and faithfulness.” Psalm 40:9-10 NLT
If the Lord has been good to you, you can’t keep the good news about him or what he has done in you and for you to yourself. There are lives hanging in the balance, that will be changed – not because of you, but because of what the Lord has already done for you and will do through you.
Think about that co-worker, friend, neighbor or stranger you see each week. You’ve seen them struggle, you’ve seen the cascade of despair in their current season, you’ve noticed their lack of friends and/or faith. It’s time to ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment to share his faithfulness and love with them.
Who will you tell about the faithfulness of the Lord? ______
Who will you encourage and share the good news of God’s unfailing love? _____
Lord, to know you is far greater than anything this world can provide. Lord, we have seen you work, we have seen and/or heard about the miracles you perform. Your unfailing love sustains us and makes us whole. Lord, we pray for those seeking employment and ask that you open up doors. Lord, we pray for your weary workers and ask that you renew their strength. Lord, we pray for those in bondage to the schemes of the evil one and ask that you set them free. Lord, we pray for those who are sick and ask for healing. Lord, we pray for broken homes and ask that you restore them. Lord, we pray for the broken, lost and those living in despair and ask that you be with them and make them whole. Lord, use us in a mighty way to serve you with our whole heart. Lord, let us be all that you have purposed us to be. In Jesus name, amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
