Good morning! Have you ever been in a room full of people and someone calls your name? In most cases, you turn around to see who they are and you begin to have a conversation with them. Well read about David’s encounter with the Lord.

“⁷ Hear me as I pray, O Lord. Be merciful and answer me! ⁸ My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” ⁹ Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation! ¹⁰ Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.” Psalm 27:7-10 NLT

Dear Lord, thank you for today. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Lord, strengthen our faith and trust in you. Lord, we desire to be close to you. Lord, teach us to be more attuned to your voice. Help us to listen and obey. Help us to seek your will. Bless us Lord with your presence today and fill us with you. In Jesus name, amen.
