Good morning! “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.” 1 John 3:1-3 NLT
To know that our heavenly Father loves and calls us his children is such a wonderful thought to reflect on each day. Maybe you don’t or haven’t had your father around you. Maybe your father never said I love you. While that maybe so, just know the heavenly Father knows you by name, he knows every intricate detail about you, he designed you with a careful touch and he calls you his own.
Brothers and sisters, the Lord loves you! Loves you! No matter what comes your way today, know the Lord still loves you, cares about you and will never leave you.
Oh what a glorious day it will be when we are able to see our heavenly Father, and our Savior and Lord.
I will fill in the blanks for you today. 😊
Who loves you? Our heavenly Father
Who loves you? I may or may not know you, but I love you and I’m praying for you.
Father God, we thank you for loving us. Father God, thank you for dying on the cross for our sins so that we can be reconciled to God (our Father). Lord, you know there are so many triggers in our hearts and minds when we read the words ‘father’ and ‘love’. Lord, whatever is unhealthy or painful about those words or memories, Lord, I ask for you to heal those areas embedded in our hearts and minds. Lord, be our strength today. Show us your glory. Let us experience every ounce of love you want to pour into us today. Lord, fill us completely. Lord, we want to be more like you and free from the things that keep us from experiencing you at a greater level. As we continue to draw closer to you, continue to show us your loving mercy and grace toward us, so that we me see and understand you more. Lord, please be with the sick, the abused, the homeless, those who are in pain, those who are silently suffering (e.g., mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, etc.) and heal, protect, shelter, comfort and sustain as only you can. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
