Be Full of Courage

Good morning! Last week, I left you with a challenge to look for opportunities to remain in the Lord. Were you able to accept the challenge? If not, today’s message will give you another opportunity to accept the challenge.

And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God’s children.” 1 John 2:28-29 NLT

In the busy weeks ahead, let’s think about the various opportunities we have to switch around our priorities. Let’s make sure we have time to sit at the feet of Jesus. Because, it is in those moments/that time when we are open to receive the word of God, allow God’s words to penetrate our spirit and give us the desire to push forward in his strength.

How will you remain in fellowship with Christ this week? _____

Father God,  today is the beginning of the week for many people. Lord, only you know what the future holds for us this week. However Lord, we come before you today seeking your guidance for our lives. Lord, help us to prioritize our schedules to ensure we keep you first. Lord, we ask that you give us wisdom in our assignments, in the decisions we must make and for strength to do your will. Lord, help us to display a Christ-like attitude and to be a blessing to others around us. Lord, be with those who are in need and/or in need of prayer. Lord, touch our families and renew our spirits. In Jesus name, Amen!

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
