BIBLE VERSE – Matthew 24:23-28 NLT
²³ “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. ²⁴ For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. ²⁵ See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.

²⁶ “So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it!  ²⁷ For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. ²⁸ Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.”

REFLECTION
Sisters and brothers, Jesus has shared these things so that we might know the truth. Be mindful, don’t be deceived by false messiahs and false prophets. This is so important because the scripture says, if possible the false messiahs and false prophets will deceive God’s chosen ones. So put on your armor daily – so that you can stand against the enemies schemes. Read the word/Bible. Pray fervently for discernment and wisdom as we continue our journey in the Lord.

PRAYER
Father God, thank you for letting us see another day. Thank you for surrounding us with your love. Lord, you have been so good to us. Lord, we lift up our brothers and sisters in need. Lord, you know exactly the need and we ask that you provide it for them. Lord, touch their bodies and heal their physical ailments, mental distress, emotional imbalance, financial poverty and satisfy their spiritual thirst. Lord, we don’t know the exact day of your return, but we do know that you are coming back. Lord, help us to live according to your will and lead others to know you more. In Jesus name, amen.
