Bible Verse – Hebrews 13:3-4 NLT 

“3 Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.

4 Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.”

Prayer

Father God, thank you for the reminders in your word today. Lord, thank you for never leaving us or forsaking us. Lord, we pray for those who are in prison. Lord, we ask for the innocent prisoners to be freed and healed. Lord, we pray for each prisoner’s mental health and safety. Lord, heal them all from the root cause of them being in prison and lead them to you so that they maybe saved. Lord, we pray for marriages and we ask that you cover them and protect them from outside influences that desire to destroy what you have put together. Lord, improve communication and understanding. Lord, help each partner to put you first so that their love for you will overflow into their marriages. Lord, we pray for those who are single and/or lonely and we ask that you fill them up with your presence and peace. We ask that you guide their lives and continue to encourage them. Bring godly people around them to remove the loneliness that they feel.

Lord, we pray for those struggling with mental illness, grief, and depression. Lord, help and strengthen them through this holiday season. Give them the comfort and peace that they need. Lord, shine your light into their hearts and restore hope. Lord, be with my family as we process another loss in our family. Lord, we know our loved ones are free from this harsh and painful world, but Lord we miss them and will continue to. Lord, as the waves flow continue to remind us that you are with us. Thank you for coming into the world to save us and give us hope for an eternal future . In Jesus name.
