Good morning! Today we are beginning our final chapter in the book of Hebrews – Hebrews chapter 13. Let’s begin where the author begins to conclude.

Bible Verses – Hebrews 13:1-2 NLT

“1 Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. 2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!”

Prayer

Father God, thank you for another beautiful day. Thank you for being our keeper as we slept through the night. Thank you for awaken us to a new day covered in your new mercies. Lord, thank you for another day to learn to love others.

Lord, as we stretch our hearts to love others like you love us, we ask that you protect us. Lord, provide the type of wisdom and discernment that we need to love those we have low trust or bitterness toward. Lord, help us to see your truth in love. Uproot the bitterness in our hearts toward others. We don’t want to hold onto things that will fester inside of us. May our lives align with your words, and may it transform our lives daily so that You will see it in action.

Lord, bless our homes and families as we come together to celebrate your birthday this Christmas. Don’t let us lose sight of the reason we come together or the reason we celebrate your birthday. Lord, thank you for coming to take away the sins of the world. May our children, their children, and the children after become to know the truth about Jesus and be saved.
