Good morning! May God bless you as you go throughout the day. Join me as we continue our reading in Hebrews chapter 6.

Bible Verse – Hebrews 6:4-6 NLT 

“4 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— 6 and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.”

Prayer 

Father God, we thank you for another day that you made. We thank you for the joy you extend and the peace that you give. Lord, as we reflect on today’s reading we pray for believers in the faith to remain committed to the Christian faith. Lord, it is so easy to fall away, but to turn away from it 100% is a heartbreaking, because we know somewhere down the line their faith was shaken and has not been restored. Lord, we pray for them today and we ask that you turn their hearts back to you. Lord, awaken them and remove the things and spirits that have them bound.

Lord, thank you for taking our place on the cross. Lord help us to consistently remember how good you are. Help us to understand the depths of your word as it relates to our love and commitment toward you. Soften our hearts so that we do not turn away from our faith in you. Strengthen us to follow after you in everything that is pleasing. Give us discernment and allow your Holy Spirit to reveal to us what actions we should take each day. Lord, prepare our hearts and the women who will be participating in our next Bible study. Lord, reveal your Holy words to us. Lord, we ask for continued safety and peace. Cover our families, heal those who are sick and hurting. Continue to heal the men who are being treated for prostate cancer. Be with each person who is going through breast or other cancer treatments – heal them. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.
