Prayer
Father God, you alone are able to do the impossible. From miracles in ancient Biblical times until today, you are still in the business of performing miracles and transforming lives. Lord, thank you for saving and leading us. Lord, thank you for your word that is true, and it breathes life into our lives.

Lord, awaken our minds to seek you when our day looks dark and unmanageable. Lord, you know our struggles on our jobs and with our colleagues, you know the struggles we have in our homes, you know the struggles that we have in our relationships, you know the struggles we have with schools, you know the struggles we have with medical providers, and you know our financial struggles.  Lord, we trust and believe that you are with us in those struggles and we believe that you will bring us through. Lord, as we wait for you to bring us through, help us to display godly character in our situations. Don’t let us lose sight of you or the fact that you are working things out in our favor. Lord, remind us that you are the light in this world. Lord, straighten our path and ignite our passion to follow after you. We know and believe that You are always with us and you care for us.

Lord, comfort those who are grieving and having a difficult time with their grief. Lord, give them an appetite and nourish their bodies. Lord, heal those who are in physical pain and help them to get the rest that they need and alleviate their pain today. Lord, keep a hedge of protection over the children who are going to childcare and school – protect them from being harmed. Lord, bring Your light in the classrooms and in our workspaces we will be in today. Give us favor in our task and with those we encounter. Lord, you are the everlasting God and we praise you for all that you have done and plan to do. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen!
