PRAYER

Father God, we thank you for another beautiful morning! Your mercies are certainly new today. Thank you for answering our prayers for protection and healing. Lord, we thank you for slowly mending our hearts from grief. We thank you for waking us up to experience more of you and this life on earth.

Lord, we pray for strength to carry us today as we go from place to place. Lord, set our minds on the things that our lovely and that bring peace in our hearts so that we can be people of peace and hope. Lord, create in us a passion for your word and to serve you, to love and help our neighbors, and the people in this world.

Lord, we pray for those who will be traveling. Lord, keep them safe as they travel to and from their destinations. Lord, be with the pilots flying the airplanes and keep the airplanes mechanically sound. Lord, we pray over events, conferences, etc., and ask that they will be free of chaos and disruption. Lord, let the information be delivered well, may it be full of truth, may it be attainable, and bless those who are in attendance. 

Lord, continue to watch over and protect students. Help them in their classes and keep them safe. Help them to develop good friendships and be surrounded by peers and teachers who care.

Lord, we pray that you will speak to our hearts today. Lord, direct our steps and lead us. Continue to comfort those who are grieving and missing their loved ones. Lord, hold us together when we feel that we are falling apart. Stable our minds. Comfort our hearts. Remove anxiety, worry, and fear – help us to leave those things at your feet as we trust You to care for us, our families, our jobs,  the church, and this world. Lord, you know each prayer request of the person reading this today. Lord, we ask that you bless them and answer their prayer.

Lord, there is a lot going on in the world. Lord, use us as you see fit to make a difference here and in the lives of others.
In Jesus name, amen.
