PRAYER

Father God, we thank you for waking us up to see another day. Lord, we thank you for another opportunity to serve you.

Lord, we pray for families today. Lord, we pray for restoration and healing. Lord, we pray for communication to improve and for love for one another to grow stronger. Lord, speak loudly into their lives and remove pridefulness. Lord, where there is an unsafe environment, we ask that you make it safe from abuse and other forms of harm. Lord, we pray that you will end the cycles of trauma and bring forth healing and joy.

Lord, we pray for marriages, and we ask that you heal them. Lord, you know what needs each marriage has, but Lord, we pray for husbands and wives to connect. Lord, we pray for the single parent, the single person, and the ones who are carrying majority of the load in their homes. Lord, renew their lives and return their attention to you. Give them the strength, wisdom, and peace to do all the things you have called them too.

Lord, continue to order our steps. Continue to protect children as they go to and from school. Lord, supply their needs and give them a fresh start.

Lord, continue to do your great work within us. Lord, use us to share your Word with the world.  Use us to show compassion for others. Lord, as you work through us, guide our hearts and minds. Help us to store your word in our hearts and let our actions and speech reflect it. Lord, wherever we go today and whatever we do, we ask that our lives be aligned with you.

Lord God, thank you for all that you have done for us. Continue to lead us and heal us – spiritually, physically, financially, medically, mentally, and emotionally. Lord, continue to work miracles.
