Good morning!

Lord, there is so much to be said, but we simply want to start with thank you.

Lord, as we begin a new week in August, another group of kids and young adults will start school or return to school.  Lord, we place them in your perfect hands. Lord, be with them as they enter, walk around, sit in class, have lunch, and as they greet new friends and/or unite with older friends/familiar faces. Lord, give them peace and calm their hearts. Lord, direct their steps and grant them educational success this year. Be with them and protect them from harm as they walk, drive, bike, or they are driven to school. Lord, help them to make good decisions. Lord, disrupt any plans the enemy may be plotting against these children and young adults. Lord, give them stability in their minds and in their living environments. Lord, you know every financial need they have, bless them with everything they need. Lord, for those taking on physical activities, keep them hydrated and injury free.

Lord, we pray for all the teachers around the world. Lord, we pray that they will instruct their students with clarity and joy. Lord, give them the hope and wisdom that they need to successfully lead their students. Lord, bless their homes. Lord, help them where they need help and support at work, at home, and in the classroom.

Lord, comfort the parents who have or will see their children leave for college, whether it is sending them off via car, airplane, or other transportation. Lord, remove anxiety and worry from their hearts. Lord, be the parents with kids starting elementary, middle school, and high school. Help them with their emotions.

Lord, we pray for each reader. Lord, heal those who are sick/ill. Lord, you are in control of today. Prepare them for this new day that is filled with your peace q
Bless those who are applying for new jobs and those who are studying for interviews.  Lord, equip their minds and prepare their hearts for the work ahead. In Jesus’ name,  amen!
