Prayer

Father God, as we bring closure to this week, we want to thank you for being a beacon of light and a reflection of goodness. You stood with us during the ups and downs of our week, and you never left us in despair. You were and are our constant – the One we can always depend on in our time of need, sorrow, and good times. Your love overflows, and it brings new life and revelation to the things we encounter and go through. Lord, we are given opportunities to mature in faith, grow in grace, and be completely transformed by the renewing of Your Spirit in our lives daily.

Lord, we want to “Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace.” We want you to be with us and to be able to feel your presence.  Lord, give us favor in the workplace and in the spaces we may go today and over the weekend. Lord, help us to display our maturity in faith and love while also being humble in our character and responses. Lord, shut the mouths of lions and put a spotlight on deceivers so that we can be mindful of Your glorious protection, power, and Truth. Lord, continue to cover our families and bless those who are need and make yourself know to those who do not know you.

Lord, greater are You. Greater are You. Greater are you than anything we face. So Lord, we entrust our day, our lives, and our families and friends to you… greater are You, In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.
