Happy Monday! The God of all things on earth and in heaven is the same God who blessed us with today. Praise Him for this day. If it is a rough day praise Him, if it is a challenging day praise Him, and if it is a day that is good praise Him because no matter what lies ahead He is with you and He will not leave you. Join me as we continue our reading in 2 Corinthians.
“3 If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. 4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NLT
When Jesus released his spirit (Matthew 27:51), the veil was torn. We were no longer required to go through a priest to pray on our behalf. Jesus the chief priest made a way for us to go directly to God who hears and answers our prayers. Yet, many are still trapped behind the veil.
Sisters and brothers, as long as there is air in our lungs our work here on earth is not complete. If we live a life that gives glory to the Lord, the spiritual gifts we use for His glory will leave a legacy that will bear fruit for generations to come.

Father God, thank you for another day. Thank you for blessing us with your Word that never fails or changes. Lord, you are Alpha and Omega and today we give you our lives. Have your way with us as we seek to share your glorious light of the Good News with others. Lord, cover our families, children and those who are in desperate need of you today. Lord, we pray for the Evan’s family today, we pray for Australia and for the lost, least and last. Lord comfort those who are grieving, those who have lost all their possessions to the fires. Be with us today. In Jesus name, amen.
