Happy Friday! This is the final chapter in the book of Psalms. Of course, it is fitting to end Psalms with praises, however our praise won’t end here. Enjoy your day and your weekend.
“1 Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heaven!
2 Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
3 Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
4 Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
5 Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
6 Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Psalms 150 NLT
Brothers and sisters, things may not be going as well as you have hoped, but praise the Lord anyway. Spend this weekend seeking God’s direction for the things you are facing. Allow His Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and pour out love into your heart. Instead of worrying, pray and praise the Lord. His will, will be done!
Father God, thank you for being our everything. Thank you for loving us more than we love ourselves. Thank you for saving us and reconciling us back to you. Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy.
Lord, speak to us and teach us your ways. Direct our steps and guide us through today. Reveal to us your plan for our lives. Strengthen our faith and increase our trust in you.
Lord, we praise you for all the things you have done for us. Lord, we praise you as we wait patiently for your return. Lord, please comfort those who are grieving. Lord, be with the sick who have been diagnosed with terminal diseases – you alone know how to heal your children. Lord, give insight and wisdom to treating physicians on how to best deliver medical treatments. Lord, give strength to volunteers who are working in human-trafficking rescue centers – help the victims to fully recover. Lord, be with families who have missing and/or exploited children and are concerned about their children’s wellbeing – Lord, return those children home or to a place of safety. Lord, be with our servicemen and women across the world and keep them safe. Lord, continue to transform us daily. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
