Happy Wednesday! The Lord is always with us. Enjoy your day and today’s devotion.
“13 For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations.
The Lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does.
14 The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
15 The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.
16 When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.
17 The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.
18 The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
19 He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.
20 The Lord protects all those who love him, but he destroys the wicked.
21 I will praise the Lord, and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.” Psalm 145:13-21 NLT
So today, pour out your heart to the Lord, the One who keeps his promises and lifts those with heavy burdens. The Lord is close, he hears our cries for help and he protects all those who love him.
Father God, thank you for lifting us up when our burdens seem too heavy to carry. Lord, thank for never leaving our side and for hearing our cries for help. Lord, thank you for keeping your promises to the past, current and future generations to come. Lord, because of your great love we understand acts of mercy and how to extend grace to others. Lord, help us to relinquish our desire to control our lives and bring our thoughts and motives before you. Lord, teach us to seek you first before we make decisions. Lord, guide us with a steady hand and lead us on the right path. Lord, be with our loved ones who don’t have a relationship with you. Lord, draw them near to you and teach them your ways. Lord, fill them with your love and faith so that they may fully experience your greatness in their lives. Lord, we leave our burden of _______ and ________, in your capable hands. We trust that you will work all things out for the good of those who love you and have been called according to your purpose. Lord, we thank you and trust you. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
