Good morning! It’s Wednesday and the Lord is still on the throne. Take all your burdens and cares to the One who loves you the most. Enjoy your day.
“1 From the depths of despair, O Lord,
I call for your help.
2 Hear my cry, O Lord.
Pay attention to my prayer.
3 Lord, if you kept a record of our sins,
who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4 But you offer forgiveness,
that we might learn to fear you.
5 I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word.
6 I long for the Lord
more than sentries long for the dawn,
yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7 O Israel, hope in the Lord;
for with the Lord there is unfailing love.
His redemption overflows.
8 He himself will redeem Israel
from every kind of sin.” Psalm 130:1-8 NLT
Where is your hope today? ______
Father God, thank you for offering us forgiveness of sins. Thank you for your unfailing love toward us. Thank you for not keeping a record of our sins. Thank you for the hope we have in you.
Lord, continue to teach us your word so that we will understand forgiveness and learn to forgive others. Lord, be with us today as we seek you and your will for our lives. Lord, give us an obedient heart and mind so that we will follow all your ways. Lord, heal the sick. Comfort those without medical cures for terminal illnesses. Lord, we know you can heal the sick, so we ask on their behalf for healing. Lord, bring peace to chaotic homes, sustain marriages, strengthen faith and resolve in single parent homes, and protect innocent children. Lord, allow your love to overflow in our hearts so that others will see you working in us. Continue to change us to be more like you. In Jesus name, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
