Who Watches Over You

Happy Friday! Psalm 121 is the perfect psalm to end the week. Enjoy your day and your weekend.

“1 I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth!

He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
    never slumbers or sleeps.

The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
The sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon at night.

The Lord keeps you from all harm
    and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” Psalm 121:1-8 NLT

Where does your help come from?

If you need something to remind you this week about who keeps watch over you – definitely listen to or re-read Psalm 121 this weekend.

This psalm is sung in various versions but the lyrics remain the same. To help you memorize this psalm, take a look on YouTube and search Psalm 121 or the Lord is my Keeper or My Help. I keep this Psalm on my playlist to remind on the tough days – where my help comes from.

Father God, thank you for another day to enjoy your faithful promises. Lord, thank you for being our help, for not letting us stumble, for watching over us and for being beside us. Lord, no one compares to you. Lord, no one loves like you love. Lord, thank you for being our everything. Amen!

May the Lord keep you, be your help and watch over you this day and throughout the weekend.

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
