Shine Bright

Good morning! Let your light shine. Let it shine bright in the morning and at night.

Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.” Psalm 112:4-9 NLT

Brothers and sisters, expose your light for the world to see who you belong too. Even when it appears that evil may be winning, blow the dust off your lamp shade,  put on the full armor of God and expose your light. Our God is for you. Nothing can separate you from his love. You will win. Walk fearless, knowing your daddy (God) has everything under control.

Father God,  thank you for another day. Lord, we thank you for another opportunity to serve you.  Lord, forgive us when we choose to dim our lights in fear of what others think. Lord, shine in us today so that we may be a living example of you on the earth. Lord, help us to build our faith and trust in you every day. Remind us that there is freedom in you, that we don’t need to be bound by fear. Lord, remove the chains of fear from our hearts and minds. Lord, remind us to be compassionate and generous towards people around us. Lord, continue to open our eyes and change us. In Jesus name, Amen.

Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
