Good morning! Psalm 100 – Give Thanks! While there are 365 days in a year (sometimes 366), read about the eight (8) ways to give thanks to the Lord today – right where you are.
1 Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” Psalm 100:1-5 NLT
Remember that time when you were going through ______? Then after awhile God changed that situation.
Remember that day when you weren’t certain about _______, but God made a way.
How good has God been to you? ______
Let’s not be forgetful or resentful. Take some time today and recall how good our loving God has been to us.
Father God, thank you for waking us up this morning. Lord, thank you for starting us with a brand new day. Lord, your unfailing love is trusting and unending. Your care and concern for us is beyond measure. Lord, you are worthy of all praise and glory. Lord, be with us today as we go through the day – may our thoughts be about you and the things that please you. Teach us to love like you love and discern the right way to express and receive love. Lord, while everything may not be perfect in our own eyes, help us to trust you on difficult days, strengthen our faith, develop our relationship with you and show us how to continually praise you in the midst of uncontrollable situations. Lord, you are our rock, our refuge, our strong tower where we can run. We rejoice because you are Holy, you are Almighty, Redeemer, Savior, Alpha and Omega, and lover of our soul. Lord, help us to keep you first in our lives. In Jesus name, amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
