Good morning! In spite of what we may be facing or circumstances we are going through, let’s start the week off with thanks.
“1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High.
2 It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,
3 accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument, a harp, and the melody of a lyre. 4 You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me!
I sing for joy because of what you have done.
5 O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts.
6 Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this:
7 Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.” Psalm 92:1-7 NLT
List five (5) things you are thankful for:
Tell God how thankful you are for those five things all day today. When the unexpected occurs, tell the devil he is a liar and keep singing your thanks/praise. All day…sing of your joy.
Lord, only you know the depths of our love toward you. Lord, you are excellent in all your ways. You shower us with love and kindness, fill us with joy and hope, heal our brokenness and remove bitterness from our souls – only you can do that and make us whole and give us peace. Lord, wherever there is still bondage to our past lives without you, set us free so that we can prosper in you. Lord, let us not be distracted by the enemies attacks or attempts to derail us from your purpose and plan for our lives, for your word says we are victorious in Christ Jesus and we trust the battle is won. Lord, we rejoice in tribulation and in the good times, because we rather be walking with you – the God of all things, than stumbling through this earth without you. Lord, strengthen us for the journey, give us peace in the midst of the storms, remind us of joyful times and help us to trust you more. As we prepare for work, school, appointments, etc., guide our thoughts, give us wisdom and discernment to say and do the things that are pleasing to you. Lord, change us to be more like you. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
