Happy Thursday! May our Lord graciously fill you with his spirit of love and peace.

“Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us. Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.” 1 John 3:21-24 NLT.

Believe, Love, Obey

Each step in obedience is a step of faith. While sometimes difficult, it is not impossible to take a step toward what the Lord commands us to do. As we walk in his strength and power, we will accomplish all he has for us to do.

Maybe you are asking, Lord what do you want me to do. Then I will challenge you set aside time to pray to the Lord to get an answer? _____

Will you accept the challenge? _____ If so, you may use that quiet time to ask what you want, however seriously consider asking the Lord what he desires of you and for you.

Please note: the Lord reveals his plan in his time and in his own way (His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways – Isaiah 55:8-9). However, it is in our quiet prayer times where Lord often reveals himself. So, keep building your relationship with him, spend some quiet time with the Lord and sit long enough to hear from him. Then keep doing it…

Father God, we believe in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, and desire to love one another, just as he commanded us. Lord, continue to work in our hearts and transform us to become all that you want us to be. Lord, increase our faith, our joy and peace as we continue to pursue you with all of our heart. Lord, correct us when we go off the path and bring us back into relationship with you.  Lord, may your presence be with us and our families. Lord, heal those who are suffering from grief, pain, heartbreak or are lonely. Lord, shelter us with your love and comfort. Lord, be with those who are suffering financially and mentally. Lord, make provisions for every need we have and make your voice louder than any doubt. Keep us safe. In Jesus name,  Amen!
