It’s Tuesday! I pray your morning will be peaceful and full of God’s grace.
“We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?” 1 John 3:16-17 NLT.
This Christmas season should remind us of how much God loves us. God sent his one and only son Jesus to save the world. While we may never be put in a position where we may be martyrs for our faith, as the Lord leads – stand in prayer for those in need (e.g., spiritually, emotionally, financially) and put love in action.
Lord, you have demonstrated your love for your people/children throughout the Old and New Testament. Lord, you have given us a heart of compassion and love. Lord, as you work in our lives to change our heart toward others, equip us with the wisdom to know how to bless others in need. May our lives reflect a life that is committed to following Jesus. Lord, continue to teach us and transform us through your word. In Jesus name, Amen!
Keep seeking! Keep trusting! Keep praying!
