Secured Our Redemption

Good morning! May the Lord bless your reading and remind you of His love for us.

Bible Verse – Hebrews 9:11-15 NLT

“11 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come.[e] He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. 12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

13 Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. 14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds[f] so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. 15 That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.”

Prayer

Lord, thank you for being our mediator. Thank you for the free gift of salvation. Lord, Savior, and Redeemer thank you for the eternal inheritance that gives us assurance that we will see you and our loved ones again. Continue to be with us and transform us to who you called us to be.

Be with us as we go through this day. Give us favor as we go to work, school, appointments, etc. Be with those who are starting new jobs and bless them with a good work environment. Be with the grandmother who has cancer that has spread throughout her body – Lord comfort her and her family. Lord, we pray for the mom who has been hospitalized with Lupus and cancer, and we ask for her healing and for her health to be restored. We pray for the young man in his 20’s who will be having a procedure and we ask for a quick and full recovery. Lord, we pray for those who are preparing for mid-term exams and ask that you recall to their memories all the things they need to know for their exam. Lord, continue to open up job opportunities for those seeking or are in need of a job. Bless those who are starting new businesses and bless them with the finances necessary to sustain and earn profit from it. Lord, rest our hearts and remove restlessness from our souls. Help us to seek you in all things.
