Good morning! Today, we will continue our prayer series. May the Lord hear our prayers.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT

“⁷“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
 and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. ⁸ They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.“

Prayer

Father God, we thank you for blessing us with another morning and another opportunity to come to you in prayer. We thank you for your everlasting love that does not change or end. Lord, forgive us for our sins (known and unknown). We thank you for loving us despite of ourselves and the things we have done in our past or yesterday. Lord, thank you for equipping us with your word and truth. Thank you for keeping us planted by you so that we will be continously refreshed and renewed.

Lord, forgive us for the times when we put other people, our desires, and their desires above you. Lord, forgive us for allowing them to lead us or decisions we made, when we knew or learned that we should only be following you and always consulting you. Lord, when we are overwhelmed or anxious help us to stop to hear from you. Lord, when we don’t know what decision to make, help us to turn to you first and give us the discernment and wisdom we need to make the choice that aligns with your will.

Lord, we know every day is different, but we also know your word remains the same. Lord, stabilize our hearts and minds as we go through this day. Keep peace in our hearts and continue to transform us each day. Lord, help us to manage our expectations of others. Help us to love like you and extend grace like you do. Uproot bitterness from our hearts and continue to work through us.

Lord, we pray for those seeking employment. Lord, open up doors of opportunities and allow the right jobs to be offered. Lord, we pray for healing from colds, sinus and ear infections, and other sicknesses. We pray for those seeking housing. Lord, bless them with affordable housing in nice environments to live, thrive, and find or plant a church home that is filled with your teaching and love. In Jesus name we pray all these thing, amen.
