Good morning! The Lord is able to make the most complex simple. Do not fear, He is with you and He is willing to instruct you.

Bible Verse – Isaiah 50:4-5 NLT
“4 The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.
5 The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me,
    and I have listened.  I have not rebelled or turned away.”

Prayer

Dear God! The One who answers when we call. The One who speaks to the seas and controls the waves. The One who makes rivers flow and dry up. The One who suspends the sun, the moon, and dresses the sky with clouds and the stars. There is no one greater than you. It is you who gives instruction and softens our hearts to be obedient to hear you and mindful to act on Your word.

Lord, we are grateful for each morning that you awaken us from our slumber. Lord, speak to us and open our understanding to Your will. Lord, help us to be obedient to the things that you have called us to do. Help us to stand firm on Your word and follow through. Help us to hunger and thirst for You everyday and find time to connect with You and Your word more intimately. Sustain us in You. Don’t let us wonder away and forget the very verses that sustained us for so many years. Don’t let us forget the words that we learned early on when we surrendered our lives to you. Lord, we love you and desire to draw closer to you. Let us hear you today, let us feel you in our hearts, let Your light shine brightly in us and allow it to overflow. Lord, if we lack areas in our relationship with You, bring it to our attention. When you bring it to our attention, give us the heart and desire to improve in those areas, not because of works but because we love you and want to improve our relationship with you. Lord, help us and refine us so that people will see you working in us and through us. Lord, you know what is ahead of us today. Prepare us, lead us, help us, sustain us, comfort us, and give us favor today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
