Bible Verse Psalm 19:1-4 NLT

“¹The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
    The skies display his craftsmanship.
² Day after day they continue to speak;
    night after night they make him known.
³ They speak without a sound or word;
    their voice is never heard.
⁴ Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.“

Prayer

Father God, we don’t want to miss one detail about you or your presence. We want to experience your love, compassion, grace, protection, peace and comfort. Your greatness is beyond measure and too vast for us to truly comprehend, but the more we learn about you and spend time with you in your word, we are filled with your peace and your presence is within us.

Lord, forgive us of our sins (known and unknown). Forgive us of the times when we have fallen short and went our own way. Thank you for inviting us back into relationship with you. Lord, lead us today. Help us to be obedient to your word.

Lord, we pray for Israel and the surrounding areas. We pray for those who have experienced horror and trauma because of the acts of violence there. Lord, we pray for disruption of the plans and attacks against the nation. Lord, keep the survivors safe. Lord, comfort those who have loss their family members. Lord, be with the children and widows who need protection, shelter, food, and compassion.

Lord, in the midst everything going on around us we desire to be your hands and feet in this world. Lord, here we are, send us to tell others about your glory, about your Son Jesus Christ who came to save us and reconcile us back to you. Lord, let us remember your glory. Remind us to see what you have done and continue to do the work that is ahead of us. In action or in deed let others see you working through us.

Lord, you are with us every day. From sunrise to sunrise your presence is made known. Help us to take time to see it. Help us to live in awe of you. Lord, continue to hear our prayers. Be with those who are crying out to you today. Heal those who are struggling with addiction. Be with the mother’s who are praying for their children to be set free of drugs and other addictive devices. Lord, return the captives home and heal them mentally and physically. Help them to recover from any trauma that has been caused. Lord, help our young adults who are struggling with mental illness, depression and thoughts of ending their lives. Lord, hold those thoughts captive and transform their thinking. Lord, we pray for court decisions that are taking place. Lord, we pray for children who have been separated from their parents because of untruth. Lord, you know the children who need to be removed from horrible situations and others who were taken for reasons that are untrue. Lord, we ask for the return of children to proper homes where they are loved and cared for, and not neglected or abused. Lord, we pray for other court cases and we don’t know all the details but you do. Lord, we ask that you answer the prayers of the mother who wants your favor on their son. Lord, we pray for favor in the sentencing process and for your compassion. Lord, comfort the parents and release them of anxiety and worry. Help them to lean on you.

Lord, as we go throughout our day, help us to see your glory in the things around us. Let us stand in awe of You. Let us see the greatness of Your power. Keep working in us and through us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
