Good morning! Praise God for another day and opportunity to read His word. Join us as we recapture small reminders throughout the scriptures.

Bible Verse: 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12

“¹¹ So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. ¹² Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Prayer

Dear God. Thank you for the people who prayed for us. Thank for the prayers that were said over us in secret or from a distance. Lord, we thank you for answering those prayers. We know it is only because of who you are and what you have done that we can be reconciled to God and are renewed daily.

Lord, we desire to live our lives in alignment to your word. We ask for your perfect peace, wisdom, and understanding of what you have called us to do in this season of our lives. Lord, equip us and teach us to pray, love,serve, and be obedient to your word. Lord, help us to be humble but not bury or dim our light. Lord, we want to shine our light bright for you. We want others to see what you are doing in our lives. We want others to be drawn in because you are leading us and teaching us how to have compassion for others. Lord, you are our rock and our fortress, keep us grounded in your word and protect us from the tactics of our adversaries. Give us power to accomplish the good things our faith prompts us too.

Lord, continue to work in us. Continue to pour your word into our hearts. Bless and keep us safe as we go throughout the day. Lead us and continue to transform us by your grace. In Jesus name, amen!
