Good morning! Today, we will continue our Draw Closer series of daily prayers.  

Dear God
Thank you for blessing us with another day.  Thank you for the breath in our lungs and our ability to praise you.

God thank you for sending your one and only son Jesus to save us. Lord, it is by your grace that we are alive today.

Lord, forgive us of our sins (know and unknown). Lord, help us to be like you in every area of our lives today.

Lord, continue to be with all of us as we begin this new week. Lord, align our character to yours. Help us to display the fruits of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Renew our hearts and let your light shine in and through us.

Lord, watch over the children who are starting school today. Lord, let their first day be safe, fun, and filled with opportunities to make good friends. Lord, be with teachers and administrators today and guide them to be godly examples throughout the year.

Lord, prepare our hearts for what we will walk through this week. Lord, steady our minds so that no matter what may come our way, that we will remain focused on you, your
