Happy Tuesday Beloved!  I pray you are well this morning!  It’s day 2 and God has a word for us today on this last Tuesday in 2021! 

On yesterday, we established our MINDSET with understanding that God Chose Us, He Prioritized Us, He Loves Us, He already knows the “good plan” and he is more than kind enough to reveal to us what we need to know to review and close out 2021 and plan for 2022!

Today, we focus on the POSITION we need to gain wisdom and understanding for this assignment from the Lord :

SCRIPTURES

Proverbs 9:10 (NIV) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Psalm 111:10 (NIV) Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!

Psalm 25:14 (NIV) The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

REVIEW AND MEDITATION

There are three scriptures listed above and over 30 promises in the Bible for those who Fear the Lord!  It’s AMAZING to know that our Father provides all of these benefits to those who Fear Him! The God who chose us, loves us, lavishes his kindness on us and has the supreme intelligence to create all things promises us wisdom, knowledge and understanding as we humble ourselves in awe and holy reverence to Him! Our Position Matters!   My favorite scripture is Psalm 25:14 , “The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them! Wow, really God!? The King James says that “the secret of the Lord is with those who fear him” and the New Living Translation says “The Lord is a friend to those who fear him”!  That is enough to shout and praise the Lord all day! I’m doing a Happy Dance!  All we have to do Beloved in GET IN POSITION and he promises to give us everything we need and more!  Let’s get in Position and ask for what we need! 

PRAYER

Father, we lift you up and bless your Name!  God we thank you for the spiritual knowledge and understanding available to us when we fear you. Lord teach us to cultivate a consistent attitude of Godly fear! According to Psalm 86:11 we ask that you teach us your way Oh Lord, that we may rely on your faithfulness!  Give us an undivided heart so that we may fear your name! In humble submission dear Lord, we Position our being in Awe and Reference to you! Father we want to steward our lives well! We want to be on Your mission according to your will and way! We thank you that when we fear you Lord, you confide in us and you show us your covenant.  We ask you Father to clearly show us the lessons learned and takeaways from 2021.  We ask you Lord, what should be the focus, intention and plan for us in 2022.  Lord show us what you have planned for us to do in this upcoming year and next season of our life.   According to Psalm 34:9 we thank you that as we fear you, we have all that we need in Jesus Name we pray, Amen!

REFLECTION

In reflecting on Psalm 34:11-14, below, how do you go about consistently walk out verses 13-14 and maintain the position of Godly reverence?

Psalm 34:11-14 (NIV)

11 Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,

13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

14 Turn from evil and do good;  seek peace and pursue it.
