It Was Foretold

Happy Friday! The Lord is always at work. He never leaves our side. Join me as we finish reading Acts chapter 3. Have a good day and weekend

24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b] 26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”” – Acts 3:24-26 NLT

Peter continued to speak to the crowd and gave them a refresher and knowledge from the Old Testament. From the Old Testament to the fulfillment of scripture, Peter did not waver. The truth of the good news was preached for all to hear. God sent Jesus to bless the Israelites but He didn’t stop there, Jesus came to save us all.

God is not finished with His work throughout the earth. God is calling on his children to believe, repent, rise up and share the gospel message. He is calling us – He is calling you.

Father God, thank you for sending your son Jesus Christ to save us. Thank you for your word and promises. Lord, we would be lost without you. Continue to work in us and use us to share the gospel message with others, so that they will know the truth and be set free. In Jesus name, amen.
