Happy Friday! Yesterday, we concluded 1 Corinthians chapter 8. Given my review of chapter 9, I have chosen to hold off on the introduction of the chapter until Tuesday. Therefore, today I selected Psalm 100 for our reading. Enjoy and for my readers in the United States have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
“Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
3 Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.[a]
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” – Psalm 100 NLT
What are you going to thank and praise the Lord for today and this weekend? ________
Father God, thank you for another day on this earth to serve you. Thank you for your grace, mercy, and unfailing love toward us. Lord, thank you for all the things you have done for us. Thank you for the air in our lungs, the ability to hear from you, and to seek you for wise counsel. Lord, there is no one like you. Lord, of all creation, the One who knitted us in our mother’s womb and the one who knows the number of hairs on our head is the One who knows our name and calls us His own. Lord, there is no one greater than you. Lord, thank you for your faithfulness. Lord, thank you for healing our brokenness and for restoring our souls. Lord, we give a praise and glory to you today for you are worthy to be praised. Thank you, Jesus. Amen!
Keep praying! Keep Trusting God in the Process! Keep believing!
