Will you let the Lord light your path today? Will you be obedient to follow the lighted path?

Father God, your ways are perfect. Your thoughts about us are unending. You love us unconditionally and with an unfailing love. You are our rock and shield. Lord, we thank you for who you are. Lord, as we continue to seek you, open our eyes for us to see you actively at work in our lives and in the lives of others. Lord, guide our steps and illuminate our path so that we will make decisions that are aligned with your will. Remind us to seek your wise counsel first in all areas of our life. Lord, help us to be a light to others and help them to understand where our light comes from. Lord imprint your word in our hearts so that your love and wise counsel will flow from our mouths. Lord, heal and change us so that we will be more effective for kingdom work. Equip us to share the gospel, to feed the hungry, help those in need and pray for the lost. In Jesus name, amen.
