Happy Friday! Continue to pray. Stay focused and pray.
“If you see a fellow believer sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. All wicked actions are sin, but not every sin leads to death. We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.” 1 John 5:16-19 NLT
In prior weeks, we discussed God’s love for us, our love for God and our love for our fellow believers in the faith.
Today, right now, pray for your brother and sisters in Christ. We don’t know what they are struggling with or how the enemy has schemed to attack them, however we know God hears us and He can change a person’s heart and their situation.

Father God, thank you for loving us. Lord, thank you for sparing us the judgment that we deserve. Lord, create in us a pure heart and renew a right Spirit within us. Lord, open our eyes and reveal to us our sins so that we may repent and turn from them. Guide us with a careful eye and straighten our crooked paths so that our relationship with you is not hindered. Lord, be with us as we go through this weekend and help us to stay focused on the things that please you. Lord, we pray for the leadership of this country and for leaders around the world. Lord, we pray for healing in our land. Lord, bring peace around the world and soften the hearts of world leaders who are opposed to the gospel message. Lord, send your word out throughout the world. Protect those in the mission fields and strengthen their faith in you and the call that you have on their lives. Lord, help us to be light in this world. Continue to grow us in your word so that we will be well equipped to give an answer for our faith, love and obedience to you. In Jesus name, Amen!
